Principal's Message

Welcome to our Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy Middle School website. Home to the Eagles, the administration, faculty, and staff welcomes you to our school. It is an honor to serve as principal of such a fine school of educational excellence. The opportunity to work with so many dedicated teachers, staff members, parents, and students has been a very rewarding adventure for me.

Acknowledged as one of ICEF's high performing Middle Schools by the CEO of ICEF, Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy Middle School has focused our efforts on student progress. By working together with students and parents, our school strives to provide an environment that is rich in creative challenges for our students. Supported by our parents, our goal has been to create a strong base of academic learning and educational enrichment that will guide our students through their many life experiences.

Our school motto reminds us of our mission for the students we serve, "No Excuses, Carpe Diem, and Don't Settle for an A." We embrace our mission of preparing our students to attend and compete academically at the top 100 colleges and universities across the nation. We do this in a public school setting by discovering the gifts and talents of each individual student in our school.
